1080p 14hz help

i have an acer monitor that supports 144hz refresh rate. It only has a dual link dvi input though. Will dual link be ok for 144hz refresh and 144fps and or above on the fps side?? this is at 1080p thanks

Yes it supports it, although the preferred port is display-port

Yes if it's consistently above 200 fps I'd recommend enabling v sync in game to stop screen tearing

What are you asking as im confused. Are you asking if DVI DL can deliver 144Hz properly? Or are you asking if 144Hz is adequate enough for a frame rate higher?

DVI DL is reaching it's peak bandwidth for 1080p 144Hz, if the monitor supports it that's the maximum DVI will go. However at 144Hz playing a game with more fps, even if screen tear is happening, it will be very difficult to see with such a fast refresh rate.
