i have 3800x with rx 5700 non xt model.
which do you think i should get?
right now im using a spectre 32" tv at 60hz.

1440P does look sharper than 1080p certainly.

At 1440P 144Hz you are pushing more pixels per second than 4k at 60Hz

It depends on your games, sensitivity to frame time variances, how well Freesync compensates for that, and your other uses.

Desktop, no comparison, the higher resolution all the way.

In games, you may have to make tradeoffs. Fortunately you usually needs less AA at higher resolutions.
