I'm considering upgrading my 24-inch 1080p monitor to a 27-inch 1440p monitor. My graphics card is a GTX 1070 Ti, and I like to be able to play recent games on max graphics and currently have no issue with this. I was wondering whether:

(1) I would still be able to run recent games on max settings
(2) The upgrade is worth the £200-£250

Thanks!

Solution
Try looking for a QX2710LED QNIX (Perfect Pixel) base model, not the DPMulti version.
Save you some money and have the performance. #Bang4Buck.

Cheers.

I ran a 1440p @ 96Hz on a GTX 1070 for years gaming on default to max settings.
Is the upgrade worth £200-£250..?? Not sure about that, there has to be cheaper options.

Are you recouping funds from the 1080p or keeping it too?

Thanks - that's good to hear!

£200-£250 seems to be the cheapest I could find for a 27-inch 1440p monitor.

I suppose I could resell my 1080p - looking on ebay looks like I would recoup around £50-£75.
