[SOLVED] 1080p 240hz or 1440p 165hz?

I need help deciding which monitor to get.

My current pc is:
i5 8400
16gb
rtx 2060

I'd like to hear from your experiences and which would u get.

if you are a really hardcore fps gamer or really like the buttery smooth motion, go for 240hz, if you really need that resolution and clarity in games (not always), go for 1440p

Depends on the game but with what you have your not going to get either of the FPS in most modern games.

I would prefer 1440p. Because you can not get 240 fps in any AAA title anyway.

If you only play fast action shooters, look to the faster panels.

Otherwise, you are more likely to enjoy a larger, higher resolution monitor that can be more immersive.

I'm thinking of either getting 25" 240 hz or 27" 1440p.

I would go 27" 1440p and it is my current configuration. My GPU is GTX 1070. With that GPU you will be unable to reach high fps anyway and if you are looking for speed you must also think about a GPU upgrade.
