Hi, I would like to record at 90fps stable @1080p using fraps or DxTory, shadowplay goes up to 60, so no to that. When I record FPS goes down to 45, not sure why. Yes I updated all my drivers etc etc I did everything, I also have NVIDIA inspector, if you think I should change some settings there, please say so. By the way, I even tested if it was just the graphics being to high, even if I made the settings all on high/max compared to low, same recording FPS. There is something holding this card back since I've seen a youtuber accomplish much higher recording FPS using the same GPU I'm using. I understand he is using a 720p resolution video, but even if I did 720p, it goes up to 100 with some lag, how or why? (120hz Moniters + 120fps = beautiful)

Link to his video recording at 120FPS (Insane)

Not to mention, his rig is worse than mine, I don't know what i'm doing wrong here in my settings.

My rig
CPU: i7 3770k 3.5ghz
GPU: Nvidia EVGA GTX 760 SC w/ ACX Coolers
RAM: 16GB
1 HDD and 1 SSD (840 EVO) (we're talking about 100mb/ writing speed, very fast)
750 Watt Power Supply

Below is examples why recording at 90 fps is a great option.

Normal Time 30 FPS

Minecraft fullscreen i think use Game-capture for that. Border-less window and screen cap if you can. Go into your setting and just set for local save and then going through change your setting to reflect your system and the quality you want. if you Google search for good setting for recording with OBS you can find some good tutorials and people showing their settings
Use a less stressful program like OBS. It's simple and very optimizable. The best thing about it is it really doesn't root in and use up resources like crazy unless you set your setting to do so. DxTory is a great software but it takes a good know-how to set it up to where it will run well with systems. Fraps is a system hog it wasn't programmed the best and still has some fat to be trimmed.

Amazing software! I'm still trying to figure out how to make it record minecraft fullscreen using the NVIDIA nvenc or however it's spelled. This codec cause no frame lag at all! When I use it to record, the quality is very low and choppy, any recommended videos for this problem that uses the nvidia codec?
