I'm debating whether to get a 960 or 970. I have my rig hooked up to 1080p television because that's what works best for me. After doing some research, it seems that a 970 might be a waste, because I don't need to go above 1080 resolution. Is it worth the extra $$ for the 970 or will the 960 be fine? I, of course, would like to enable all the bells and whistles, so should I spend more or will it be overkill? I know the fps will be bumped up considerably if I get a 970, but will I even notice the difference? Looking into a EVGA GeForce GTX 960 SuperSC if I go that route.

i agree with the post above, the 970 is great and yes you can turn up all the bells and whistles with it to lol, if you want to save a little money but get a little less performance (you will be maxxing everything with both cards anyways) there is a 290x on sale for $299 with rebate. but if not i would go with the 970 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121840&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Desktop+Graphics+Cards-_-N82E16814121840&gclid=CjwKEAiAxsymBRCegqiLzI7Q1S8SJADOgQrz6taAf7nq46-fYOxhmhry-NLHOpKfGuKtkaC8OIPaphoCl6jw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
