I have this HDTV with a native resolution of 1366x768 only. It used to be good before when im still using my VGA. (Btw i have a r9 270 before which i used my VGA to DVI adapter to connecti to it) and now i have my RX 460 which im using an HDMI for display (I can't use my old DVI adapter). the problem is, when i use HDMI, it turns into 1080p which messes the screen.

the two sides with red circles are blurry and fuzzy in my display. then i think u can't see the black bar on the bottom of the picture but there is one and that's because i adjusted the display manually (Via AMD Crimson). When i try to turn back my reso to its native reso it becomes more messy >.<

whats the model of the HDTV?

sometimes the tvs are not meant to use 1080p and look funny when you do.

I have a Vizio 28" HDTV 720p screen that I use on 1080p mode (even though is not supported). This is always a gamble when doing this, in may case my screen doesnt need adjusting at all and looks normal, but i had an older toshiba HDTV that would shut down when in 1080p mode and adjusting wouldnt help me to get all the corners to show properly.

i find it odd too that i can't set my native reso to fit the screen tho. Whenever i do that it just messes everything else >.< i Have a 15" before but i changed to 19" but the problem persists 🙁 I can play but it's just too hard to see that my screen is not fitted perfectly.

if its old thats a problem that is going to persist. Upgrading your HDTV to a newer one or getting a computer monitor should fix that.

Okay i'll try it on my 42" Sony Bravia. You think it will work??

it should work but if its an older HDTV model it might do the same. Only way to find out is to connect it. Good luck

Hi! been a while, im now using my 32" instead of the 42 Sony. Both works fine but i chose this because the other one is very big for me. Thanks for the help btw!
