Question 1080p on 4k screen - will it look ok?

Looking to upgrade to better screen.

But I am curious about this particular scenario:

If i get a 4k monitor (quick example found one at a good price on ebay acer predator 28" xb281hk ) if i put it to display 1080p will it still look ok quality wise?

It will look excellent at 1080 P
