Hello,

I was looking to by a graphics card with a maximum spend of about £340, I have a skylake intel 1151 CPU and was looking to play games at max 1080p.

Was wondering what would be the best GPU for yhis.

Thanks in advance

Solution
You might want to wait a little while, Nvidia is set to announce their next 3000 series GPUs soon, although with current world events when exactly I'm not sure but they also said they are pushing the actual release until Q4 2020. However the announcement alone may push AMD cards to go on sale. Just a thought, but anyway here is a few suggestions.

If you have a decent 450 watt to 550 watt power supply then the GTX 1660 Super or 1660ti

Here are couple on the lower end of your budget

Or if you wanna spend on the higher end. I would recommend a better quality 550 watt PSU for this

Thank you very much I'll look into these now, yeah I was thinking about waiting but I've already waited a while and kind of just want to get one now. Cheers for the help 😉

I was looking into the 5700 xt cards are they not worth the money ?

No they are very good cards, but depending on price of both the 5700 XT and a 2070 Super, the 2070 Super might be worth the extra 30-50. However if you can find a 5700XT for a good deal then it's hard to beat.

Saying that though both cards are probably overkill for 1080P gaming, unless you play on a 144-240hz monitor and want high frame rates for competitive games.

Ok we need to know more about your pc.
What exact cpu?
What psu?
What case, some cases limit the size of the gpu you can fit.
What RAM, for example 2x8gb 3000mhz?
What resolution and Hz is your monitor?

Yeah sorry should've mentioned all that,
I have an Intel i5 -6600k
16gb of ddr4 3000mhz
750w gold antec
I have a mid tower case
And my monitor is 120hz 1080p
