My EVGA 1080TI runs up to 87 degrees rapidly. it has been suggested by EVGA support that my system could have bad airflow. Ive attached a picture as I thought my system had good airflow maybe Iam doing it wrong.

If anyone can take a look and advise that would be great.

The picture explains a little too less than what we'd need to know. Mind sharing your full specs of your system like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

You should also include the make and model of the fans in that case. I'm assuming the two fans at the rear and top are the stock fans that came with the case?

Sorry Bud see below.

CPU: I7-8700
Motherboard:Asrock Z370 PRO
Ram:16GB Corsair VENG LED 3000MHZ
SSD/HDD: 1 X 250GB 970 EVO & 500GB 970 EVO
GPU: EVGA 1080TI SC
PSU:EVGA GOLD 650W
Chassis: S340 ELITE
OS: WIND 10

2 front fans are Noctua A14 -140MM fans
Top exhaust is Noctua A14 - 140MM

CPU fan is Noctua U9S

Back exhaust is noctua S12

Thanks

what is the fan reps/percentage when at this temp? use gpu-z or msi afterburner to find this. I would recommend uping the fan curve and undervolting. this is just a good idea for longevity in general actually. your cooling seems more than adequete however is there any components(PSU/CPU) that are exhasting or pulling in air from the gpu? this would be my first guess as evga generally have decent coolers and your case fans are very good.

Case fans are set to 90% straight on startup and are based on mobo temps. fan profile is aggressive on evgas software goes to 100% fan at 70 degrees

Fan speeds are at max 100. maybe I should undervolt. PSU is facing down so shouldnt be exhausting. CPU fan is facing as show in the picture so shouldnt be taking much air.

Before looking at your case and all of the other stuff, what program are you currently using to monitor your GPU temps and control fan speed? What is your GPU fan speed at when your temps are that high?
