[SOLVED] 1080ti crash :)

got my second pc goin here and I decided to water cool it, the only problem is that my GPU crashes when I try and play the video games. I know its not a heat problem because it stays around 30-40c all the time. But I kinda think that its a thing where my PSU only sent me a splitter for 2x8 pins instead of just sending me 2 8 pins I kind of suspect that the problem but if anyone has any other ideas feel free to let me know. ps, this just started after I installed the water cooling stuff and I want to try to avoid draining the loop.


Psu - Corsair RM750x
cpu - Ryzen 7 2700x
gpu - gtx aurus 1080ti
mobo - asus strix b350-f

That PSU should have 2 GPU power cables with 2 plugs on an end.

I know that's what I suspect the problem to be

I figured it out, I pulled it apart and found out there were some chips, I think they were the vrm things but they didn't have any thermal pads on them, after I put some on there I didn't get any more crashes
