I know it's probably overkill but let me explain.

I plan on playing league of legends on 1080p on a 144hz panel, and dont plan on going below 144 fps at any point during the game (eg teamfights).

I also plan on streaming, recording the game using plays.tv, and using spotify in the background to play music, all at the same time whilst playing league on max settings. Maybe this is more cpu intensive? Either way, would a 1080ti help? because i dont want to go below 144fps with everything else running.

So with these things considered when playing league, would it be acceptable to get a 1080ti?

Thanks

Well, if you've got the money and want to spend it, go for it.....one day you may find a game that actually requires a 1080ti, because league of legends certainly doesn't. What you're wanting to do is far more CPU intensive than GPU and the 1080ti will be wasted, it could probably deliver over 500 fps on max settings @ 1080p.

This reminds me of the video's i have seen on youtube that people builded a PC that cost them less then thier lunch and the PC was able to run LOL perfect on 720P. Is it really worth it to spend on a 1080ti for that 144Hz?
I would suggest you take a look at this page: http://www.logicalincrements.com/games/lol
It isn't maybe the solution, but maybe it will help you decide if u really want to do it or not.

Personally... I am almost sure you dont need a 1080ti for LOL.
Did you already check bottlenecks that can exist?

This only gives u an indication.

Hope this will help a bit.
