1080ti vs 1180ti or whatever they go with

So I have a question about upgrading my gpu I have a 4k TV I recently got that is 50in and I plan on getting vive in the near future but I have this setup and only require a GPU should I hold out for a 1080ti or get a 1070 and the 1180ti or whatever they call it because my 960 is 4gb and some games like subnautica run smooth in 4k already?

Gigabyte Gtx 960 4gb

I don't think there will be a 1080TI tbh (if one was announced please tell me, but I don't think the gap between a 1080 and a Titan will allow for a 1080Ti to be placed)

if it pains you to play with the 960 at that resolution, you might wanna consider spending on a Titan or a regular (oc'd) 1080 right now (depending on your budget)

Oh I kinda just assumed there would be a 1080ti lol cuz I'm new to PC gaming its the 1st upgrade of my 1st PC but ok I will probably get the 1080 then
