hey guys i wanna ask something, can a 7700 non k version handle 1080TI?im playing with 144hz monitor in 1080 resolution,is it too hard for my cpu to handle it?current vga 1070,if u dont think its worth to upgrade to 1080 please give me explanation, thank you again

Solution
y do u need a 1080ti for a 1080p res? that 1070 is more than enough.
it only makes sense if u r gonna game with multi monitor setup.
and with high res due to multi-monitor or 4k, the strain is shifted more towards the gpu than cpu. so yes, the 7700 can handle the 1080ti.

i just think the difference of power is too great i want to keep the cards for years(games years ahead may need powerfull vga),and fortunately if i sell my current vga i think i can afford 1080ti,so no harm,i just wanna know u guys' opinion,i read some says i dont need to change it because its already a powerfull GPU,but what i think is games years ahead, and thank for ur opinion

I think if you're going to upgrade your monitor to a 4k or 1440p 144hz monitor later a 1080 Ti at 144hz 1080p is just fine, just means you can max out stuff at 144fps constant.
A 1080 Ti is about 125% better than a 1060 6GB which hits about 70fps maxed average at 1080p in most moderate stuff anyway right?
So that translates roughly to 165fps maxed out, giving headroom for drops and spikes, then take into account more demanding titles like Arma 3 and TW3 and there's actually quite a lot that can push it at that res and refresh rate.

i think 4k monitor cost more than a 1080TI, i mean isnt it better upgrade vga card first than monitor first?i dont plan to change monitor soon, but maybe yes in the future which i dont know when
