I bought a 10 gig network card as a way of "extreme future proofing" my pcs for the next years. It installs fine, basically PnP in windows, but if i restart the pc, it dosent get recognized. I need to shut down and power up every time. I was wondering if thats something i can configure on the card BIOS (wich i explored a bit but didnt find a setting that would solve the problem) or is something that i need to live with for the time being. I dont know if having it connected on a pci 16x intended for gpu crossfire while it being a 8x card is a problem.
The card in question is made for servers, but i though it was going to work fine as long as i had the pci lanes for it.
NIC: Broadcom NetXtreme II BCM57712 10-Gigabit Ethernet Controller (Was listed as ASUS and has ASUS logo on the pcb, but i cant find this specific model on ASUS websites)
Motherboard: Z370m Aorus Gaming rev 1.0
Cpu: 9700k (wich i think has enough pci lanes for a gpu, NIC, 2 NVME drives and dual channel RAM)
