What grades count for public high school 10th grade admissions? Thanks.

Wait, what? Umm don't fail 9th grade was the only requirement when I was in school. Admittedly that was a long time ago but still...........pretty sure there is no admissions to 10th grade.

Yeah, same... And even then a lot of 10th graders still fail every class in 9th and just make them up over summer school.
