Hey guys I'm looking to build a PC as my prebuilt finally died out. Will be using it mainly for Gaming(WoW, Minecraft, Witcher 3, DA:I Etc), Editing videos, and for media. Thank you all in advance. cant wait to see what you all come up with

Parts I already have: 1tb HDD, Monitor, OS, Optical Drive, Keyboard and mouse

Approximate Purchase Date: This Month

Budget Range: 1100$ (Try not to go over unless it will offer a significant performance increase)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Editing, Schoolwork

Are you buying a monitor: No

This build has so many potentials. Right now the Gigabyte Z97 Gaming 5 is on a big sale at 95 dollars. One of the best mobos in my view out there. I would not get anything smaller than ATX. Do not get a micro itx, itx, atx mini. As it looses features. I think this Z97 board is the best one right now ;)
If you must have a cheaper board you can find a ASRock H97 or Gigabyte H97 but this one is worth the extra cash.


The one I would pick (note this cannot be overclocked but still faster than a i5) It is worth the 62 dollars in my view.

Honestly really considering that third build, with the i7 4970k and gtx 970 (I dont think the minor increase from the 970 to 980 warrants the price)
