Also what's the best choice out there? I see some about the £150 mark, I need a mobo that will overclock my processor itself price doesn't matter so much as long as it does its job for 3-4 years. My current mobo overclocks the processor but it black screens after a while (crap mobo) I assume.

Also rather unrelated to mobo but is it worth waiting for the 2nd gen skylake processors?

The GA-Z170X supports up to 4 video cards, which adds greatly to the cost and is completely useless for most people.

I would recommend the Asus Z170 pro gaming mobo. It's around $165 which is a decent price for a motherboard. It's got SLI support, 64 GB max ram which is more then enough for any gaming rig by far. It also supports most types of ddr4 speeds and it comes with 4x sata 6gbs and 1x sata express which gives you 6x total sata ports which should be enough to 2-3 Hardrive, an optical drive, and other components you may have.
