Hello, I'm wanting to upgrade my processor on my desktop. I currently have and Intel I3-6100 and I want to get an AMD Ryzen 5 1600. The only issue I am faced with is the socket type on my motherboard. I have an AS Rock H110m-DGS and its processor socket type is an 1151 for Intel processors while the AMD processor socket type is AM4. Is there a significant compatibility difference between the two? Or could I easily swap processors?

My motherboard is here: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H110M-DGS/

Respond soon if possible, I am not an expert on this subject.

The gaming reason to upgrade is for large games like Battlefield 1 right now. My graphics card is fine; its the just processing power of my current processor is giving me major framerate issues when the map gets real "busy" in many areas.
The professional reason is to improve the overall power of my PC to allow to handle more tasks with better efficiency.

These are really promising looking, Ill look more into them
