1155 chipset gaming motherboard

LOOKING TO BUY A MOTHERBOARD with 1155 chipset

for $100 - $150 for gaming so i can play the latest games,what motherboard can you suggest and where can i buy it for cheap

I am based in australia
any help would be appreciated

ASRock Z77 Extreme4, great board, great price, best option.

You can get it from Ebay or if your lucky in MSY/Austin Computers if they have leftover stock, as they have discontinued it in those stores.

i too was going to recomend the asrock extreme 4

That Asrock is actually the ONLY motherboard I can find that is 1150 Z77 in Australia. If you do NOT want to overclock there are non-Z77 1150 motherboards. You need a "K" series CPU to overclock like the i5-3570K.

a) I assume this is a REPLACEMENT for an out-of-warranty part, and

b) If it's NOT a replacement and you don't have a Socket 1155 CPU I suggest an 1150 motherboard.

if ASRock is the only Z77 motherboard you can find, don't know where your looking as I live in Australia, and there are a good selection available.
