So I just recently ordered a system case (Worx MI-105 Mini SFF), and at the back of the PSU there is a switch for 115V and 230V, so I was just wondering where to plug what and here in the Philippines it is usually 220V off the wall as a standard in each home, thanks in advance!

Solution

Plugging a PSU set to 110 volts into 220 will fry it

only the PSU will die if you are lucky, most likely - everything - would get burned

again, the correct setting for you is 230v

those are averages

you need to set it to 230v

but would plugging the psu into a 220v wall switched at 115v, based on experience, would destroy its components right? so i might as well just set it switched to 230v?
