120 Hz vs G-sync

I have to buy new laptop for both gaming and working with heavy tasks. What would you rather choose, the one with 120Hz display (without G-syng) or G-sync one (probably 60Hz). and why?

I'm so confused right now. Because I have to choose between MSI GS73VR and ASUS ROG GL702VM. They're just almost the same with specs, but that display...

I'd go for the 120Hz one. G-sync is nice and all but not as nice as 120Hz.
