Hey guys, I am getting into PC gaming and want a pc thatll last me a while before adding onto it such as ram or other graphics cards. My budget is 1200-1300 dollars max, I want to play games like day z, bf4, and upcoming titles in high or max settings with 60+fps. Ive seen some really nice builds even one with an i7 and gtx 780. Just want the communities opinion on what would be an excellent build for me

Do you want to record video? If not i5 is fine.

I thought this looked like a decent build, without really changing much of the build what should I change up to reduce cost?
Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor $344.97
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler $29.98
ASRock Fatal1ty Z87 Killer ATX LGA1150 Motherboard $124.02
A-Data XPG V2 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory $72.99
PNY XLR8 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk $60
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $54.44
EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Superclocked ACX Video Card $509.99
Thermaltake VL800P1W2N (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case $49.99
XFX XTR 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply $109.99
Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer $19.98

The psu I listed for you has more watts at the same efficiency, and is cheaper. The ram can be cheapened, unless you are recording video or editing you do not need a 4770k over a 4670k. Also all ssd does is effect boot times and access times for programs, not game performance, so if you really needed to you could get rid of that, and finally if you don't need g-sync, or shadowplay to record video-gameplay the r9 290 I listed is a much better value.

Anyone know how i could maybe keep the i7 and the 780 and maybe lower the price to make it a littlee more affordable. I dont need a screen, OS, or really anything just the pc.

Here's an idea.

Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor $344.97 -$10.00
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
MSI Z87-G41 PC Mate ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
A-Data XPG V1.0 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
EVGA GeForce GTX 770 2GB Superclocked ACX Video Card
Thermaltake VL800P1W2N (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case
XFX XTR 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
all for about 1080 but it says Thermaltake VL800P1W2N (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case and Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler height clearance could not be verified.
