XFX power supplies are designed and built by Seasonic, who are generally considered as the best power supply OEM on the market.

There should be no difference in performance as the frequency and CAS Latency are the same between them. The reason I recommend the Ares is that it doesnt have as large a heatsink as the RipjawsX, meaning you wont run into issues with large CPU heatsinks if you ever decide to get one later on (That, and it fits the blue colour scheme I'v got happening with that rig 😛).
For gaming, you only need 8GB.
Does the PSU have any branding on it? Any model numbers?

The Fractal Design R4 is a pretty popular silence oriented case, it has sound insulating foam pretty much all over the internals.
Thermal compound will come with the 212 EVO, which I included entirely because its quieter than the stock cooler.

Thanks! Didn't expect such fast replies from you guys. I am not going to OC anytime soon.

Btw, I think i will have to buy a new psu. oops. But can you guys suggest something from Antec, Cooler Master or Corsair only?

Also, how much wattage does my build needs?

In terms of memory, is there any noticeable difference between G.skill ARES and G.skill RipJawX?
