Approximate Purchase Date: March

Budget Range: $1200 w/taxes and shipping (+ or - $100)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, surfing the internet, and watching movies.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes (Single 1920x1080p @ 60hz monitor)

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Completely new build: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg and Micro Center (Local)

Location: Garland TX, USA

Parts Preferences: No Preference

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Additional Comments: I want a gaming PC that will last for around four years. Must be able to play games at 1920x1080p @ 60+fps on high/very high/ultra settings on a single monitor. I don't plan to upgrade parts for around four years. I do plan on using 2 monitors in the future (One for gaming and one for browsing the web/YouTube while I wait for the raid to be ready).

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Dont have a computer and need a gaming PC since next gen console gaming sucks.

What games do you play/will play: World of Warcraft, CS: GO, League of Legends, Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls, Battlefield 4, Dragon Age Inquisition, World of Tanks, Witcher 3, and other games that will come out in the next four years.

Q1: Is a non reference cooler gonna have heat issues in the Corsair 250D? If so I'll get the EVGA GTX 970 Superclocked $360 blower style GPU instead.

Parts from Micro Center (Its 15mins away from my house):

Mobo: Asrock H97M-ITX AC $95
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3 1600 $78

Case: Corsair Obsidian 250D $90
OS: Windows 8.1 or 7 (Not Sure) $100
HSF: CPU Fan that comes with the processor.
Total: $1006.72

Newegg
PSU: SeaSonic M12II 520 Brnz $70
Monitor: BenQ RL2455HM $198
Total: $290

Grand Total: 1296.83 w/taxes

1) Do you also need accessories?
2) Is it okay if the build is from all places?
3) Non-reference coolers are fine enough.
Perhaps this build would be better?

Even with the i5 4690K + Asrock Z97E-ITX AC bundle $300 the i5 4590 + As rock H97M-ITX $255 is cheaper and I don't plan on over clocking at all so no need for a K processor and z97 motherboard.

Didn't know the bundle worked for H97 motherboards thought it was only Z97. But even with the bundle its the same price at $255. I don't plan on overclocking so having the k chip seems like a waste.

Also I'm looking for a 24" to 27" monitor.
