[SOLVED] 1200 socket cover with 115X?

Hi there,

I'm sending an LGA1200 motherboard back that was dead on arrival. I stupidly threw away the 1200 socket cover but I have a 115X from another computer. Will this 115X socket cover work or do I need a 1200 socket cover?

If you can't fit the socket cover through the retention bracket, it probably won't work.

If you were looking for a reasonably safe way to see for yourself.
