120hz for the following?

Hi,
I am looking into buying a 24" 120hz monitor, although i do not know how much it would benefit me (main games I play are Skyrim, Crysis 1/2, COD MW2, so I play many types of games). Would a 120hz monitor really provide smoother gameplay?
If so, which 24" 120hz would anyone recommend?

Samsung s23a750D or s27a750D or s23a950D or s27a950D ...best 120hz gaming monitor on the market...if you want 24"...I believe BenQ has a new monitor coming out in a week. I'd recommend the BenQ XL2420T..if you want 24".
