[SOLVED] 1250W PSU clicks twice and nothing

Hi Guys,

Today I was replacing my 750W PSU for a 1250W (Great Wall) one. When I turn on the PSU the light on my motherboard briefly flicker. (Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO) Once I press my PC power button the PSU makes a clicking sound twice and then nothing. Fan hasn't moved once. I then put in my 750W PSU again and that still works because I was afraid I might've fried something.
I'm pretty sure I did everything correctly. I can just keep using the old cables from my previous PSU connected to the CPU right? I changed the one to my motherboard of course and also the ones to my GPU.
What are the odds the PSU is just dead ? I can test it but it will take me a while to get the right equipment I think; if I order a replacement right now I can have it by tomorrow (I'm kind of in a hurry cus I want to mine crypto)

Thanks in advance.
