[SOLVED] 12600kf cooling woes

I have searched high and low for a AIO water cooler for the LGA 1700 and there just doesn't seem to be any available. Does anyone have any advice on this?

The dimensions of the LGA 1700 are not that much different than LGA 1200 and are smaller than socket 2066. So every AIO already has a plate big enough to cover a 1700. All you really need is a backing plate with most motherboards, although some newer MBs have slightly offset holes that can be used for either 1200 or 1700 coolers. If you check the manufacturer's website you will see how to obtain a 1700 backing plate and mount the AIO. For example:

The 12th gen cpus are slightly thinner so pay attention to z height pressure if using a heatsink that does not explicitly state for LGA1700.
I went for an air cooler as detailed below.
