Does anyone have any suggestions for scanning the square 127 slides? i am using an Epson Perfection V700 Photo flatbed scanner. It scans 35mm slides perfectly but when i try to scan the square slides, it crops two sides off and it it never crops the same way. i have tried the Vuescan software and it work okay but was curious if others had more suggestions.

Thanks.

If they are in mounts, use the film area guide and make sure to select film with film area guide in the softwawre so it focuses correctly. You may want to make a second mask that has a few cutouts for your 127 to fit within the area guide. You will need to use manual cropping for sure with 127 (I don't even trust it on common formats). Here are some tips I put up which will help you with this:

Thanks for the help, Doug. I got it set up and working great. It's not quite as easy as putting 35mm slides in and hitting the scan button, but oh well. Nothing's ever perfect. This is way better than anything i had tried before. And considering i have about 10,000 slides to do, this will work fine.
Thanks again.
