noob here

does anyone have a good guide or settings to OC the 12700k?

i read some guides but blue screen and had to reset the bios with cmos

my psu is also rm 850x and Noctua NH-D15 chromax. black

i had my r7 3800x before to 4.5 all cores but can find any settings or guide to oc the i7 for example 5.3 all cores

I have this EXACT setup.

Z690 Aorus elite AX DDR4 and 12700k. You are probably not going to like what I am going to tell you about trying to achieve that type of overclock on this board, but before we go there it would be good to have EXACT specifications for the rest of the hardware including your exact memory configuration including model of the kit.

If you just want an overclocking guide and don't want to hear anything else, despite the fact that I am a pretty avid overclocker for basically every previous Intel platform and the majority of AMD platforms, then this might be helpful in that regard.

But honestly, the truth is that much like with Zen3 and 4, the default auto configuration settings already push these things to the max so much as it is that overclocking them not only usually doesn't offer any benefits, but more often than not, it makes things worse.
