1280x720 vs 1366x768 (performance)

My graphics card is a Sapphire R9 270X Vapor-X edition and my CPU is an FX-6300, 8 GB DDR3 RAM,

would going from 1366x768 to 1280x720 give a NOTICEABLE difference in fps, or is it not worth it? I'll be playing current games with decent settings with AA turned off.

When gaming I personally prefer 720p mate - performance difference is negligible but depending on your screen its probably downsizing the higher res anyway.
& you should get away with fxaa AA on a 270x with a minimal performance hit.

Very minimal difference, any card that handles 1280x720 will handle 1366x768

if its a monitor (not a tv) & 1366x768 is the native resolution then run it at that
I assumed with you mentioning 720p res that you were using a tv
A 720p hd tv will downscale from 1366x768 ,a monitor wont.
