Hello, I know this is an old post, but I just had a similar problem and can't get it fixed following all the suggestions in the thread.
I was shooting the 7D M2 with my Lexar Pro 64GB 1066x CF card and the camera suddenly says that the card is not accessible. I couldn't reformat the card with the 7D M2, 5D M2 cameras.
I couldn't reformat with multiple PCs either. Windows Explorer shows the CF card as D: but cannot access it, asking to reformat, but cannot reformat with any file system, or either with Quick Format or not.
Windows Disk Management, HP Format Tool, SD Format Tool couldn't complete the reformat. Diskpart didn't fix with remove partition and clean.
Windows Disk Management reports 32MB for the CF card (D: drive), probably only the MBR.
I use Ontrack Recovery and other data recovery software to scan card but couldn't find anything.
Is there anything else I can do to recover the data? Please help. I have about 2000 photos from the shoot of my son's lacrosse game.
