128GB SSD: Crucial M4 vs. Samsung 470

Many people claim that the Crucial M4 is the greatest SSD and is the one I should buy, but is the Samsung 470 not also great?

Which SSD should I get? I'm more concerned w/ which SSD is better, and then does the better SSD warrant the price difference?

Thanks tons. I'm purchasing my rig in about an hour and am trying to iron out these last couple kinks.

Your motherboard supports SATA 3 6Gb/s solid state drives.

The Crucial M4 is a SATA 3 6Gb/s solid state drive.

The Samsung 470 is a SATA 2 3Gb/s solid state drive.

I would rather have the Crucial M4, but it is hard to find on sale. (Contrast it with the failure prone OCZ drives that you can buy heavily discounted right now.) I did catch the Samsung on sale yesterday along with Ghost and bought it instead of the Crucial. It is going into my old Laptop so SATA 2 is sufficient. The Crucial and Samsung drives both have good reliability ratings.

cadder - Two weeks ago I picked up a Samsung 470 Series 256GB ssd that was heavily discounted. I am going to install it this Sunday in my personal rig. It is sufficient for what I do. I'd have to upgrade the motherboard, cpu, and ram for SATA 3 6Gb/s capabilities. I don't want to do that. Instead I'd rather be satisfied with the 470 while I wait and see how the migration from SSD to PCI-e 3.0 works out.
