I followed the post by farbs and jaquith about setting up the bios for 6 strips of ram. I have G-Skill 6 bars 2GB each. I changed Extreme Memory Profile -> Disabled. Then System Memory Multiplier-> 12. Then DRAM Timing Selectable-> Quick. CAS Latency Time ->9. Then tRCD->9 Then tRP->9 Then tRAS->24. Then Command Rate(CMD)->2 Then QPI/Vtt Voltage-> 1.375v. Then DRAM Voltage ->1.680v. I started with the lower voltages and no change at first. As I went up to higher voltages until more ram started to show. First it said 12gb installed and 8gb usable, Then it went to 12gb installed to 10gb usable. Then it went to 12gb installed and 12gb usable. Then it went back off as I restarted my computer. So I turned it up to the next voltage until it said 12 installed and 12gb usable and stayed that way after restarts. I change the QPI/Vtt Voltage to 1.375v and the DRAM Voltage to 1.680v and it is showing 12gb installed and 12gb usable. Will these voltages harm the system ? My temp says 50 Celsius. I have restarted a few times and also checked the bios and it is staying stable at 12Gb installed and 12Gb usable. But when I shut down my computer completely and when it started back up it went back to 12GB installed and 10GB useable. I'm not sure where to go from here, Thank You for your help.
