Semi-quick question about something that I don't fully understand...

When I originally built my computer, I put in this RAM:
Corsair XMS3 6GB Kit (3x2GB) 1333MHz DDR3

I recently purchased an upgrade:
Kingston HyperX blu 12GB Kit (3x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3

Other possibly relevant info:
CPU: Intel Core i7 920
Motherboard: ASUS P6T Deluxe

What I want to know is if I should keep all 6 sticks in (which is what I am currently doing) or if I would get better performance if I remove the old Corsair RAM since it is only 1333MHz and the new Kingston RAM is 1600MHz. What is better in this situation: more RAM, or faster memory speed?

It's strictly a gaming computer too. I don't really do anything else with it aside from browse the web and stream videos. Thanks in advance for the help!

Solution
Realistically, neither will have a big impact. Not having enough RAM is a lot worse than having it operating at a marginally lower frequency. Then again, unless you are doing something very specific, 8GB is enough for about anything you might need, so anything above that is probably not going to be used.

I'd keep it all.
