12gb ram (3 44 usable)

Hello,
I just installed another 8gb of Ram adding to the 4 I already had and get noticed this under my System panel. After reading through alot of forums I've tried to find an answer without any luck. Is it possible to switch the order of the Ram to get fix this?
Any tips anyone could offer would be super useful and greatly appreciated.

1. What is your Windows version? 32-bit or 64-bit?
2. Are the two RAM sets of the EXACT same specs?

You need to have a 64 bit version of Windows installed to have more than 4Gb RAM available.

You can check under Control Panel>System.
