Hi Guys,
I have a question about Batteries.
I want to use a small 7.5Ah 12V waterpump for Goldpanning/Sluicing but I dont want to carry a heavy car battery to the spot every time.
My plan now would be to buy a 24V (truck) battery with around 100AH and just leave it in the car. Then use 100 - 150 Meters of cable (2mm²) to connect to a StepDown Converter (24v -->12v) at the Spot and connect the pump to the converter.
Can this work? Will i have enough power after 150 meters to still get the pump working? If yes, how long can i expect the 100 Amps to last while doing this?
Thanks in Advance,
Pure
PS: English is not my mother language so please excuse any spelling misstakes.
