+12v is over 12.004 at last reading

Hello i am asking this question about my +12v i am getting a reading of 12.004 or very high. I am running a Asus sabertooth 990 r2.0 motherboard and a corsair 750W power supply... i planned on replacing the power supply tomorrow.
I also was experiencing random restarts from yesterday.
What is a good Voltage for my +12v for when i get my new PSU i was going to take a look and monitor the situation.

I think that is well within tolerances. No need to worry.

12.004 is superb. I generally start worrying at around 0.2 / 0.3 difference.

what software you using? none of them are very accurate on rails from what I have found....get you a multimeter and probe a unused 4 pin/molex connector Yellow is 12v, black ground, red 5v etc

if you see anything at/below 11.6 idle or loaded I would soon replace it....

i am using CpuId HWmonitor, i also took one stick of ram out and ran the computer i think its doing ok now.. Could be bad ram?

Maybe but that's usually like BSOD etc... if rail is really at or above 12v that's fine and good it can be high ATX +/- 5% so 11.4-12.6v

What Ram is it? you could try a bunch a of passes with Memtest but it seldom ever finds anything from what I have seen.
