Hey guys, i dont know much about voltages and stuff,

today i notice in AI suite II (i know crap program) and it reach 12.200+
is this normal or do i have to change my psu? or there is something wrong with my wiring?

im using corsair hx1000,

My spec is:

3770k
sabertooth
noctua d14
gtx 680
corsair hx1000

Solution

of course not..
with your current PSU, you even can add third GPU..

more heavy components like adding GPU means more load to your PSU..
more loads usually make a little voltage drop, not raise your voltage..

sadly i dont have the tools to monitor it leaning towards a "false" reading, anyhow as what others told me its okay even if its true, my question is if i overclock or add another gpu would it raise the volt?

Safe voltage is within 5% range for 12v and 3% for 5.5v and 4v..

That's means 12volt have safe level at 11.4v - 12.6v..

and like Mr. ihog said: software reading isn't accurate..use a digital multimeter to read your PSU voltage.
