12v Socket Splitter Question

Hi there I recently bought a heated and cooled seat pad for my car (https://www.arnoldclarkautoparts.com/products/heating-cooling-car-seat-cushion-swmas3)

I really like it and would love for my partner to also have one in the passenger seat as well.

Only issue is there's only 1x 12v Socket. I know you can buy splitters - but I'm smart enough to know plugging two of these into an Amazon special 12v splitter may not go well...

Will it work safely do you think? And if not do I have any other options?

There are no technical specs listed in the link you provided. Is there an amperage or wattage on the product?

Look in your car's documentation for the wattage limit on the 12 volt socket.

Most vehicles rate the 12 v socket 120 -180 watts. (Check the fusing: 10 - 20 amps perhaps.)

One of the seat pad product reviews mentioned that the seat uses 1.5 Amps (source other than reviewer?) so that would be 18 watts.

Power is additive so two seats would be 36 Watts.

Before doing anything else find out the manufacturer's cited specs: Voltage, current, power, etc..

Likely determined under ideal circumstances and likely lower than in real use.

Take a close look at the quality of the seat.

"Recently bought" noted. However examine the seat, wiring, plug, etc. for early signs of problems.
