Question 12VHPWR Extension question with 4070ti

I have a RTX4070ti on order and I have a question regarding a extension cable. I have a 12VHPWR to 4x 8pin adapter. Seeing as how each 8pin on the power supply is 150v, do I need to 1) connect all 4 cable ends, and if so, do I need to use 4 separate ports on the power supply, or can I just use two because the 4070ti only draws 280w max. I appreciate any help and hope I’m making sense

Check your PSU company to see if they make a cable. For example corsair makes a 4x8pin to 12vhpwr (600 watt rating) which is plenty for the 4070TI.
