13 Amp Corsair CX500 Power Cable

Well I dnt hve any idea about this.I checked the power cable and its rated 13Amp ~250V with flat point pins.But my UPS has got round plug points.So i got a converter (from flat plug point to rounded pins).Bt its rated 6Amp....Will it work or i need to have atleast 13Amp converter.d fact is its not easily available in the market.......

umm you suppose to plug the UPS to the wall and plug the computer's power supply cable to the ups itself

Yaaa.....i know it...bt plugging the Power Cable to the UPS is creating all srts of problems n this is why i posted this...
