Solid build, only comment is the psu, not very reliable but should suffice for now
monitor is overkill as 1070 can not get 100+ fps @ 1440p, but you can upgrade GPU later.

On some heavy AAA games, GTX1070 can do over 100fps @1440p, if you can sacrifice some in games settings. For most of the games, GTX1070 can push high enough fps on max.

Your Ryzen 5 will be a small problem for some games to reach over 100fps. If 144fps is the only goal, unfortunately, Intel Coffee Lake is the best way. Coffee Lake is not the best value but the best way.

Your build is still solid especially from value point of view.

The 650watt can only mean the new black/white series which are decent enough.
