Firstly i am not paying 190$ for slightly faster loading. Secondly i am DEFINATLEY getting a modular psu not semi-modular or otherwise. Thirdly i will not cut my options short for later upgrades by getting medium sized case

Look you posted on here ...I'm going to guess for advice?

Well unless I'm blind that HX750w psu you have up there is modular, not only that it goes for $150

Then you have that WD h/d that goes for another $80 when you can pick up a quicker and quieter h/d for $60

Now we go to that mobo you have up's what... $250

Then we go to the factory o/c gtx 560ti you have up there that goes for another $260

Then of course the $190 case

That build you posted up top is a total hose job.

What are you talking about i WANT a modular psu
Im getting a quality HDD for what 20$ more i dont mind that
I do agree the mobo was a joke that is why i took sadam's advice
i picked the gtx560 ti hawk because i like the cooling for it and the Haf X is a very highly reviewed case that I like CAPITAL I and that is why we buy computer cases otherwise i would buy a cardboard box with mounting brackets

the samsung hdd is quality so is the WD but the samsung is faster and cheaper which makes it a much better deal.
the hawk is not a good deal especially because the twin frozr II has great cooling (pretty much exactly the same) and like Why_me said oc'ing will take you like 10 minutes.
and you are wrong about the ssd it is so much faster and becoming a standard for gaming builds.

i5 2500k & Scythe Mugen 3- 257$

Asrock z68 extreme3 gen3- 138$ shipped best motherboard for the money.

HX850 & evga gtx 570- 487$

Corsair 8gb 1600mhz- 52$

Samsung F3 1tb- 60$

Adata S511 120gb- 190$

Silverstone Raven RV03- 140$ amazing cable management. cools better than the HAF X with the fans on high (it is still quieter).

a little over budget you can always get this psu- only a 5 yr warranty unlike corsair's 7

and this card-

that should put you well under 1.3k
