~1300 $ PC Feedback?

I've spend about 1 month researching parts, and just building computers on pcpartpicker.com. After about 20 different drafts, I feel as though I've nearly decided on a build. There are alot of things in the air about it; do I really need an i5? Would a AMD FX-6300 or 8320/8350 work just as well? Should I spend more on the GPU at this price range? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

ok, i got a newer version of that cpu, aswell as a Z97 mobo, a better cooler, and it will look way nicer, a different case because the one you had would only fit that graphics card if you removed the drive bays, and a higher quality psu.

I edited that last build, took out the ssd and changed the gpu for PowerColor's R9 290 because it comes with a free 250GB Samsung EVO SSD. Better value for your dollar.
