1366x768 Crysis 3 MAX

I will buy a Haswell i3-4130
and a GPU
4 GB of ram and 450W Corsair PSU.
I chose Crysis 3 as a benchmarking game. Because if i can run this max, maybe i can run most of the games that are coming out for the next 6 months - 1 year.
What gpu should i be looking for at 1366x768 resolution?

I want to max crysis 3 at 40-50 FPS.

Since you didn't give a budget or anything, I'll just give you my basic info for a range of prices. If you have no preference for nvidia or amd and want a budget card, I recommend this:

This will be playable in Crysis 3, but will not be able to handle maxed settings

Performance card:

This card would be able to handle Crysis 3 at high settings. Ultra settings may struggle, and if you ever plan on increasing resolution, you will find it degrading very quickly.

High performance card:

This card will be able to handle Crysis 3 on maximum settings at a full 60FPS for your resolution. It will also handle any game currently out at 60FPS for your resolution.

My budget is $200 max. The GTX 660 is out of stock except for the Inno3D GTX 660 for $203. There is Sapphire R9 270 Dual-X OC here for $188 is this good enough? Since I am playing at a fairly low resolution i wan't to crank AA as high as it can. Is there a certain specification i should look for with respect to handling AA?

I have read that R9 270 is overkill for my resolution but i think that overkill = near-future proof. Do you think 750 Ti can Max Crysis 3? 40-50 FPS.

An i3 won't run crysis 3 at max consistently at 40fps. It will have sub 30 frame rate drops making for a bad experience. As for GPU idk I stick to 1080p so I have only testes at 1080p and only know those benchmarks.

Crysis 3 has a recommended requirement of i3-2120T/Phenom II X4 810 and a hi-performance requirement of i7-2600k/FX-4150(ABSURD i7>>>FX-4150) . So I think the i3-4130 which beats the i7-2600k in single core performance will be able to handle 40-50 FPS on Crysis 3. I know Crysis 3 utilizes more threads but the Haswell i3 is way better than the 4 core Bulldozer.

If link doesn't work Google "crysis 3 CPU benchmark" and click on toms article about crysis 3 CPU and GPU benchmarks. The 3220 performs like 5% less than the haswell i3 in real world so add like one or two frames at most. Also keep in mind the benchmark is just for "high" not "very high"

Thank you for the reply. I think I should be looking for fx-6300 or an i5 then. So Graphics wise do you think r9 270 will be enough to max it out if i get the fx-6300 or i5?
