Hi! After I built the system and ran some test I was unpleasantly surprised that the CPU was reaching nearly 90°C and the CPU package was reaching nearly 99° C at full load at 250 W power consumption with the fans on the AIO being at 100%! I re installed the AIO thinking that maybe I didn't install it properly the first time, but soon found out that it made no difference! I tried undervolting and it did kinda work, now it sits at about 82°C for the CPU and 92°C for the CPU package and the fans are still spinning at 100% and the power consumption fell to about 210 W and fell from 29500 score in cinebench R23 to 27000 in Cinebench R23.

Specs:
Intel I7 13700f
Asus Z790 Tuf-plus d4
2x32gb ThermalTake 3600/cl16 ram
2tb Kingston KC3000 Pcie 4 NVME
Rx 6600 xt gpu
Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360mm aio
Asus ThunderboltEx 4 thunderbolt card
Fractal Design ion+ 760W platinum rated psu
Fractal Design Torrent compact case

The PC will be used in an audio recording studio.

Do you only see these high temps in CineBench all core test? This is about the worst torture test for any modern cpu.

What are your peak temps when gaming and general use?
Yes I see such high temps only in Cinebench and those are the temperatures after 10min stress test and the only game I have tried on it is Far Cry New Dawn where the system was basically completely silent at max settings 1080p (haven't recorded temperatures)

I don't have any experience with Intel's latest cpu's so maybe someone else can chime in. But the 13700/13900 are hot running cpu's when loaded. If you are below 90°C on CineBench then it's actually pretty good considering.

I have a 5800x3d with a dual tower Peerless Assassin 120 cooler and I see 88°C max with CineBench23. The 5800x3d has a lower TDP compared to the 13700.

For general home use and gaming I think your fine with those temps.

Well, as I wrote up, it's gonna be used for audio production so I know it won't get up to such high load but I just wanted to be sure.

I think you are fine, those CPUs run hot. For example, a 12700K with 190W TDP can easily get to 80°C and up in Cinebench, so 82°C on yours isn't too bad especially if you know you won't have it running at that all day. Try testing the CPU in usual workloads and see how it goes. It should be fine.
