So AMD had to provide AMD drivers for AMD GPU... That dastardly Intel and their evil minions - I bet Intel has no plans to update or provide Nvidia driver updates either.

Intel blocked AMD driver installations because the chips are Intel products. As such, Intel was responsible for driver updates. Because it did not issue them, or change its policy, its customers went a year without support, particularly through its auto-update softwares and Windows driver updates.

Ryzen must be making AMD a TON of money. Looks like AMD was able to afford hiring a 2nd software engineer to code GPU drivers if it only took 14 months for this update. That's way faster than the dGPU driver update they recently released that fixed problems with Vega based GPUs.
