You sound like you don't really know what you are looking for in the monitor but besides playing games. I suggest maybe you look around to figure out what features you like most. For example you are unsure of what panel type you want, when this can be a big factor to things such as response time, and color accuracy of the image (if you like for your games to look really good this may be important). Typically for gaming you want a lower response time, to avoid input lag in games. Also the lighting may be important to you also, LED back-lighting is typically the best way to go, and since they're just as cheap and non-LED back-lit monitors these days I don't see any reason not to go with LED.
